We are searching for compassionate volunteers to visit our Hospice patients in their homes, nursing homes or personal care homes. Our Hospice patients suffer from life limiting illnesses and would benefit from companionship and socialization our volunteers can provide.
Volunteering takes no advanced medical training or great commitment. It can be as simple as reading or spending time with a patient a few hours a week. It is small deeds of kindness that so profoundly enhance the lives of our patients and there families.
Our volunteers are thoroughly trained and supported in the skills they need for the volunteer role. All hospice volunteers are given assignments that best suit their time, skills and interests.
