Camp Quality Arkansas is a non-profit serving children with cancer and their families. All of our services are free!

Our largest event & volunteer need is our summer camp! We are scheduled for Sunday, June 8th - Friday, June 13rd, 2025 at Camp Mitchell in Morrilton, Arkansas. Volunteers will arrive early on Saturday, June 7th, 2025.

We ask that volunteers stay on the grounds for the duration of camp for the safety of our campers. A bunk, food, etc. will be provided. If you forget anything or a need comes up in the week we will work to get it for you!

REQUIREMENTS:

• 16+ years old (Limited spaces for 16-17 year olds)
• 18+ must pass a background check
• Complete an application (https://www.campqualityusa.org/register/)
• Attend training prior to arriving to camp
• Complete an interview
• Show immunization history of Tdap, MMR, varicella (can also show history of chicken pox) * Note: COVID-19 vaccination series is strongly recommended, but NOT required.*

Our toughest roles to fill include 18+ male companions (work directly with campers), photographers, camp medical staff (RN, EMT, LPN, APRN, DO, MD) and psychosocial team roles (background in social work, child life, or psychology).

Summer camp is fun as a kid, but so much more fun as an adult especially when you get to see these special kids having enjoying camp!
