MSR is currently seeking a board member to serve as an advisor in promoting our mission of empowering people through our therapeutic programs. The ideal candidate will be impassioned about addressing mental health concerns and understand and relate to the health benefits of connecting with an animal. This board position requires serving time on the marketing committee to coordinate a marketing strategy and review marketing campaigns with the Executive Director. Mission Statement
The mission of Mending Strides Ranch is to empower those suffering the effects of trauma, neglect and hardships through the use of rescued horses in equine assisted therapy.
Description
Our goal is to relieve the suffering of trauma survivors in our community through equine assisted psychotherapy and to help individuals develop life skills that will improve day to day life. We use rescued mustangs, minis and donkeys to partner with clients to bring about change.
