The Wilkinsburg Community Ministry needs regular, committed ChangeMakers who are passionate about addressing food security to serve the Wilkinsburg Mobile Food Pantry!
involveMINT continues its partnership with the Wilkinsburg Community Ministry to host the Wilkinsburg Mobile Food Pantry. Utilizing the Green Grocer truck provided by the Greater Pittsburgh Community Foodbank, the mobile food pantry will serve 5 sites across Wilkinsburg. These sites are isolated from the Wood Street pantry location, preventing many low-income residents and those who have been adversely affected by COVID-19 from getting access to fresh and healthy food.
This program starts on September 26th, 2022, and will be ongoing.
By participating, you can earn or raise impact credits to further their mission to end hunger. These impact credits can be used to do good things such as support local businesses or can be donated to nonprofits like Wilkinsburg Community Ministry to access needed supplies and services.

Mission Statement
We are a community of businesses and ChangeMakers dedicated to growing an economy built around social and environmental change.
Description
Our network of businesses and ChangeMakers is dedicated to creating a community-based income for creating social and environmental change. We recognize that addressing many of the needs of our economy isn't free, yet so much of our time spent addressing these is unvalued and unrecognized. Money is scarce - making tackling our biggest societal challenges unsustainable.
We believe people should be able to make a living in service to our environment and each other. This includes picking trash off the street, removing invasive species, community gardening, serving as a doula, feeding the poor, and so on.
The way we inspire livelihoods rooted in social and environmental change is by creating our own money. This money, or community credits, is created on our website when any ChangeMaker documents their work and the impact that it has. These ChangeMakers then receive free access to the goods and services they need to pursue their social and environmental passions. The impact is measured through the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
