Join us in hosting our first fall art gallery opening for the UHeights Artist Collective. Interact with visitors, artists, fellow volunteers, and staff members. Tasks will range from welcoming guests into the building, providing building directions, assisting with our interactive art table, to setting up and breaking down the event.

  • Sat Oct 15, 2022 - evening / 07:00 PM to 10:00 PM
    This shift is more patron facing. You will be interacting with gallery go-ers and in the last hour assist with breakdown and clean up.
  • Sat Oct 15, 2022 - 04:30 PM to 07:00 PM
    This shift is focused on behind-the-scenes work. We will be working on setting up for the gallery.

Description

An 112-year-old former elementary school, now multi-purpose community center located in the heart of the University District which serves more than 100,000 people throughout the year. Our facility hosts over 200 different groups, activities and classes every year. Many individuals, families, groups and organizations visit us here for workshops, classes, programs and events.
