Summary
The Adult Achievement Center is seeking a creative, friendly, and detail-oriented Videographer to build and sustain awareness about our organization using key programs such as Powtoons or Adobe Premiere. Working from our location and reporting to our President, the Videographer will work collaboratively to promote the goals, messages,and images of our organization, ultimately fostering awareness of our vision of empowering young adults with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) with knowledge for successful living.
The Videographer will record and edit videos for our website, newsletter, social media platforms, and YouTube channel. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals to gain experience with adults with ASD, work in a collaborative and supportive environment, and improve their social, professional, and organization skills.
Responsibilities
- Use Gimble/Cell phone (or your own equipment) to record videos during our programs and events.
- Use Powtoons and/or Adobe Premiere to design and edit videos that are consistent with our brand, values, and mission.
- Combine text and graphics to create visually-appealing promotional videos.
- Assist with posting recorded and edited videos to our website, newsletter, and social media platforms.
- Upload videos to our Google Drive and YouTube channel.
- Attend volunteer/intern sessions 2-3 times a week, in 3-hour sessions. Thus, the weekly time commitment is 6-9 hrs per week.
- The ideal candidate is responsible, attentive to detail, and creative.
- Interested candidates must be familiar with some form of video editing. Knowledge of Powtoons or Adobe Premiere is a plus.
- Candidates must be able to follow direction and receive and integrate feedback while working, in order to create content that aligns with our organization’s vision, values, and mission.
- Job experience may include direct contact with young adults with ASD. Volunteers/interns will be expected to learn how to interact with our clients appropriately. Experience working with young adults with autism or special needs is preferred but not required.
- Must demonstrate empathy, patience, and friendliness while working with high-functioning adults with autism.

ASD Adult Achievement Center is a non-profit provider of services for individuals with ASD (autism spectrum disorder). Founded in 2016, ASD Achievement serves adults 18 and over who desire greater independence. ASD Achievement provides training and education in the areas of independent life skills, social skills, executive function skills and job readiness skills to Central Florida residents.
