The National Kidney Foundation Serving Maryland and Delaware is inviting members throughout our community to volunteer for our Southern Delaware Kidney Walk on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Cape Henlopen State Park. All proceeds from the walk go to support the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease and kidney cancer.

Volunteer times vary from registration, cheer squad, set up and more! Volunteer hours are dependent upon each specific volunteer role. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Volunteering with the National Kidney Foundation Serving Maryland & Delaware gives you a chance to be part of that effort. Millions of Americans have some form of kidney or urologic disease. Thousands die each year while waiting for kidney transplants. Hundreds of thousands need life-sustaining dialysis treatments to stay alive.

REQUIREMENTS

  • We are flexible to the time you can offer! Setup will begin around 8:00AM. The walk festivites start at 10:00AM with clean-up following.
