Mission Statement

Junior Achievement: Empowering young people to own their economic success.

With a focus on financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship, Junior Achievement’s classroom curriculum complements what our hard-working educators are already doing to prepare our youth to succeed in the future, both personally and professionally. Time Commitment: Training: 1 hour Preparation: 30-45 minutes per lesson Teaching: 5-7 one-hour lessons during regular school hours (or our JA Day format, where all lessons are taught in one day). Support: Teachers remain in the classroom at all times Experience: K- 5th grade (1 to 3 years work experience) 6th - 12th grade (3+ years professional work experience) JA’s impact would not be possible without the mentors, donors, and schools who partner together to make a difference.
