About Casa de la Alegría

Casa de la Alegría is a young, enthusiastic organisation that helps young people in Cochabamba, Bolivia, become more self-reliant. We work through the development of socio-emotional skills of and with the children.

Aggression control, self-confidence building and stimulating self-sufficiency are some of the themes we employ. We have a heart for development cooperation, basing our vision on cooperation initiatives arising from local requirements. We work with, rather than on behalf of, our target group.

The function

We are a small foundation with great dreams, and to fulfil these dreams we continually look for ways to increase our sustainability. We look for new partners and for ways of diversifying our activity base and target reach. One of our sustainability initiatives is the establishment of a language school, which will also provide an independent source of income generation.

Are you the person who can help us in these activities, widening our foundation’s profile and reach, both online and offline? We’re looking for someone who can identify and develop opportunities in an innovative and proactive way. Someone who can increase the visibility of Casa de la Alegria and together with our fundraisers contribute to project continuity. In addition to general promotion of the organisation, we expect you to develop new marketing strategies for the projects financially supported by Casa de la Alegria.

Job requirements

· Extensive experience in marketing and/or promotion

· Affinity with and enthusiasm for our objectives

· The ability to independently develop and execute new ideas

· A professional and proactive approach
