Literacy Partners -- Menlo Park is looking for volunteers to provide hands-on leadership of our fundraising program. We are small but have distributed more than $100,000 since our new nonprofit was established in 2021. The position(s) will require fundraising experience with the ability to work with colleagues to develop the organization's fundraising program, either as a board member or as a volunteer comfortable with working with fellow professionals on the board. Experience raising funds in the Mid-Peninsula San Francisco Bay Area is desirable, but a professional looking to become more involved in the local community with general fundraising experience would be welcome. The organization raises money for a variety of literacy programs in the local community. The position is largely virtual but will require Zoom and in the future live meetings at fixed times for the team.
