Join us in Marina Park for fun fall festivities. Specifically designed for children in costume, this family-friendly fall harvest festival includes carnival games, vendors, sweet treats, a dog costume contest, professional pumpkin carving and more.

Merchant Trick or Treating starts at 1:00 PM at participating stores.

If you feel like dressing up in a costume, PLEASE DO! We encourage anything that will make this more fun for children. Please refrain from very scary costumes as this is a child focused event.

Mission Statement

KDA was founded over 20-years ago, to help Kirkland businesses, especially small businesses, grow by bringing people into our downtown area. We host a variety of community events throughout the year that bring tourists and local residents into our picturesque downtown area to shop, enjoy our restaurants, cafes, galleries and the waterfront. Our programs and activities support the vibrancy, economic health, and inclusion that will keep Kirkland a growing, lively and wonderful place to live, work, play, and do business.

Description

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Examples of Our Events:

  • Kirkland Wednesday Market
  • Kirkland Classic Car Show
  • Celebrate Kirkland 4th of July

  • Pumpkins in the Park
  • Winter Fest
  • Letters to Santa
  • Winter Markets

Some Community Projects:

  • Flower pots to beautify downtown

$$$$ - It costs nearly half a million dollars to put on all these events each year. We are able to do it because of the generosity of you (our community) and through sponsorships. We bring hundreds of thousands of people to Downtown Kirkland to have a great time. We are a 501(c)3 and your donations go a long way!

Volunteer! We need nearly 1000 volunteers to operate these events! Summerfest alone requires 500 volunteers! We rely on volunteerism to make all of this work! Is there an event that you are passionate about? Please come work with us!
