Mission Statement

Students of STEM empowers children, regardless of their socioeconomic background, to meet the world with purpose through free high-quality education in coding, math, and problem-solving. We recognize that many disadvantaged students do not have the opportunity to discover or pursue their passion in STEM. We hope to give them the resources and guidance to help they need by connecting them with knowledgeable high school tutors.

Description

At Students of STEM, our mission is to teach math, coding, and problem-solving skills to kids for free! In today’s innovative world, we believe strong foundations in math and technology are vital for the next generation. By connecting experienced high school tutors with children in need, we aim to build a community of learners aspiring to meet the world with purpose.

At the moment, we offer free Python classes, free Scratch classes, and free Challenge Math classes. However, we are more than happy to help if people want tutoring for other analytical subjects.

We are looking for enthusiastic and qualified team members dedicated to helping our mission! Volunteer obligations are extremely flexible, and you can teach as many or as few classes as you please. All work will be compensated with volunteer hours. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at thestudentsofstem@gmail.com or go to https://studentsofstem.org/join-our-team/. Additionally, feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions!
