Purpose of Position: Provide 1:1 academic tutoring to Kindergarten - 5th grade students, with a focus on Literacy Development.

Tutoring Location:
Three Tampa Area Locations
After-school and summer tutoring slots available

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct interactive and engaging tutoring 1-hour sessions in English
• Conduct dynamic, student-centered, and communicative-focused sessions
• Communicate student progress with parents and teachers
• Commit to regular training and professional development
• Record and report student progress after each session
• Participate in weekly team meetings & trainings
• Participate in quarterly team gatherings

Requirements:

• Preferred Native or Highly Proficient Speaker of Spanish
• Experience working with students ages 5-12
• Reliable transportation
• Highly organized
• Able to express and garner enthusiasm about learning to young children
• Proficient and/or willing to learn to use online tools to enhance student success
• Must complete a level II background clearance
