We teach tennis to kids with autism from 3-4 pm each Saturday in Overland Park!
Volunteers will receive a training and then be paired with a participant to help them through the motions of the game of tennis through various drills and games. We help these children learn socializing skills, fine & gross motor skills, and we also help them have fun, make friends and connections, and get exercise.
The clinic will take place on Saturdays from 3:00 - 4:00 pm on April 5, 12, 26, May 3, 10. No tennis experience is necessary!
Volunteers will need to register, complete a background check (if 18 or older), and sign up for the dates they can attend. Step 1 registration can be started here: https://aceingautism.galaxydigital.com/user/register/
