Help students gain confidence in their literacy skills!
Pandemic related disruptions have caused learning loss, especially for our youngest students. By volunteering with Mentors in Toledo Schools (MiTS), you can help teachers give K-3 students the individualized attention they need to succeed! Volunteer mentors support students in meeting the Third Grade Reading Guarantee while showing them that their community cares about their success.
This volunteer opportunity takes place in various Toledo area schools for 1-2 hours in the morning, Monday through Thursday!
