Treehouse Holiday Magic Elf Workshops for groups

Save to Favorites

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

We have a priority group volunteer project for our Holiday Magic program that needs to be completed by October 14.

We need to schedule multiple Elf Workshop volunteer shifts to pack 3000+ toys, which will be sent to youth in case across the state.

These workshops are held during the day on weekdays at Olympus Press near Tukwila, and are for 5-10 volunteers. We encourage groups to do both a morning and an afternoon shift on the same day, with 5-10 volunteers per shift.

We will need each Elf Workshop leader to commit to signing up at least 5 volunteers for their shift, using Treehouse’s volunteer registration system.

Please contact me if you are interested in organizing an Elf Workshop, and we can discuss scheduling.

Age requirement: This shift is open to volunteers who are 12+. Volunteers who are 16+ can volunteer on their own: younger volunteers will need to volunteer along with an adult.

Vaccination requirement: Effective October 18, 2021, all Treehouse volunteers age 12 and older must be vaccinated in order to participate in any in-person volunteer opportunity.

About Treehouse

2100 - 24th Ave. South, Suite 200, Seattle, WA 98144, US

Mission Statement

Giving Foster Kids a Childhood and a Future We envision - and strive to create - a world where every child that has experienced foster care has the opportunities and support they need to pursue their dreams and become productive members of our community.

Each morning, nearly 10,000 children in foster care in Washington State wake up to unfamiliar surroundings.

In foster care, they are safe from physical harm and dangerous neglect, but they are far from out of the woods socially, emotionally and academically. Trauma and loss, changes in homes and schools, and emotional upheaval cause them to perform worse than their peers on every academic measure.

Treehouse is taking on these challenges with fierce optimism by providing youth in foster care with access to the services they equally deserve to be successful in school and in life.

Treehouse is dedicated to closing the achievement gap between youth in foster care and their peers forever.

By providing our students with the academic and other essential support that all kids need to succeed, we’ve watched them become more self-determined and invested in their education than ever before. And despite the challenges our students face in foster care, their graduation rates are on the rise.
