Be part of our Annual Short Short Story Contest and support literacy. The 4th Annual Short Short Story Contest is an international flash fiction contest. Writers submit 100 word stories on one of four topics. You will help us determine the winners by reading, judging the stories using a rubric. Training provided. Time commitment: 2 hours. We award 7 cash prizes to the winning authors. Proceeds from the contest support adult literacy programs.

Mission Statement
Ethos Literacy helps fulfill the ambitions of low-literate adults and immigrants who are striving to achieve their goals by empowering them with literacy and language skills. Through one-on-one or small group instruction, we give our clients the opportunity to learn in a supportive environment. We endeavor to create a literate, inclusive, and equitable community.
Description
Since 2009, Ethos Literacy has provided reading, writing and English Language Acquisition instruction to adults In 2020, we expanded our services to teens who have left school. Our expertise is the cultivation of core reading and English Language skills. We also have a special literary arts program. We've received national awards: Library of Congress Best Practices in Literacy Honoree and National Literacy Directory Innovation Prize.
