Volunteer project planning:
Onsite project requirements:
Everyone must be at least 18 years old to serve onsite
Everyone must be background checked using Washington State Patrol (WATCH) & NSOPW
Everyone must sign a Covid-19 liability waiver
If groups are working with food, gloves are required.
We ask for 3 weeks advanced notice for onsite projects to give time for planning and to collect and process all necessary paperwork.
Offsite Project project requirements:
Everyone participating must sign a Covid-19 liability waiver
Everyone making food/sandwiches must wear gloves for food safety
Offsite projects are fast and easy to set up and don't require a lot of lead time.

Description
Volunteer Services provides low-income adults (anyone 18 years old or older) who have temporary or permanent functional disabilities, including those associated with aging. The people we serve can not afford to purchase the kinds of service we provide, do not qualify for assistance from other sources and do not have family or friends available to help them. Service is provided on an as-volunteers-are-available basis. There are never any fees for the services provided.
