SOMOS Online Tutoring - At the moment, we have a high need for academic tutors. We will match approved tutors with a student who is in need of online tutoring. We match tutors with students based on skills, availability, and preference. Tutors will work with students virtually via zoom or other virtual meeting spaces.

Schedules are flexible and based on availability of tutors and students. Tutors will develop lessons with assistance from the SOMOS Coordinator as needed in order to help students succeed.

In order to become an active volunteer for online tutoring, you will need to obtain four clearances: PA Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprint clearance, and the NSOR Clearance.
