SOY (Supporting Our Youth) OOST Programs - Volunteers are needed to help support staff and students with homework, cultural activities, and socio-emotional encouragement Monday through Thursday. The SOY schedule follows the Pittsburgh Public Schools calendar.
SOY Elementary - Volunteers are needed for the SOY Elementary program Monday through Thursday from 3:55PM to 5:45PM. This program is conducted at Beechwood Elementary School in Beechview.
SOY Middle - At the moment, we are still in the process of finalizing plans for the SOY Middle School Program for the 2022/2023 school year. Let me know if you are interested in the middle school program and I will send you more information as soon as it is available.
For this opportunity, we require the presentation of the PA Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance, the FBI Fingerprint Clearance, and the NSOR Clearance.

The mission of the Latino Community Center is to empower, advocate with, and celebrate Latinos in Allegheny County.
Description
The Latino Community Center is a small, but growing, nonprofit organization that was established as a 501(c)3 in April of 2017. The LCC was established in response to the needs of the growing population of Latinos in Allegheny County, and the needs and desires expressed within this community for supports within and around education, community resources, newcomer support, and more. Programming at the LCC includes bilingual after school programs, high school college and career readiness programs, a Welcome Hub for newcomers, community engagement events, connection to local resources, a "free store" located within the LCC, and more. The Latino Community Center, through all that it does, strives to ensure that all Latinos in Allegheny County are valued and have equal and equitable access.
