Every week our Chicken Soup Brigade Client Care Advocates, Nutritionists, Chefs and Cooks, Warehouse and Distribution staff and Volunteers work together to make, package, bag and deliver medically tailored meals and groceries to clients in the greater Seattle metro area living with serious health conditions.

The need is greater now than ever! Millions of people continue to face challenges with putting food on the table. Since March 2020, we have increased our meal production and expanded our outreach. Let's come together and work to strengthen our community!

Where you come in: Lifelong's Chicken Soup Brigade (CSB) needs volunteers to

-Receive single bags and assemble double bags by placing one bag inside another, with the fold on the same side.

-Pack completed double bags (50 per banana bo)x. Return assembled double bags the following week and receive a new set of bags.

-Hand off assembled bags to on-site Contacts who will track, label, and store them.

COVID-19 Precautions: Lifelong is dedicated to keeping our volunteers and clients as safe as possible. During the Coronavirus pandemic, all volunteers are asked to wear appropriate face coverings, wash hands frequently, and stay at home if they or a family member isn't feeling well. We have also included additional safety measures to ensure proper social distancing within the Kitchen and Warehouse. The health and well-being of our volunteers, staff and clients are our top priority and we are actively following CDC safety guidelines to maintain a safe volunteering experience.
