Are you...

A teacher, part-time worker, former host parent, stay-at-home parent, retiree, or maybe someone who is interested in earning supplemental income while working from home? If yes, then we’d like to invite you to apply to be a Local Coordinator for the STS Foundation exchange student program.

The position is a 1099 contractor, commission-based opportunity. Well suited for those with a volunteer heart who like working within the community. In this position you will work on your own time and at your own pace. This position requires someone who is self-motivated and a go-getter, someone who can take the ball and run with it.

You will recruit host families in your local area, work with schools in the local area, place, mentor and supervise international exchange students (up to 10 a year). Some main tasks are submitting a monthly report once you place a student in your area, evaluation of a host family home, and orientations.

You must be able to pass a background check, be 25 years of age or older, and be passionate about cultural exchange. You will have the opportunity to win an international trip annually as an exciting incentive.

I am currently recruiting in the states of Washington and Alaska. If you would like to discuss the position further, please fill out this form and I will be in touch!
