The youth volunteer program at The Magic House enables young people to gain valuable skills, make new friends and contribute to the community. The Magic House seeks applicants who are outgoing, flexible, patient and love working with children. New volunteers start as Museum Assistants and rotate through a wide variety of exhibit areas while working with visitors. Youth volunteers are asked to make a commitment to serve at least 30 hours within a year. The process begins by submitting an application, followed by a personal interview and if accepted, an orientation session.
