Here is the event description: Come to the Museum of York County for a day packed with superhero and science-themed activities! Discover the science behind real-life versions of common comic book superpowers and learn about animals with similar capabilities. Design your own hero and create their adventures. Play a life-sized trivia board game to test what you've learned, and see how Greek gods were similar to today’s superheroes in "Legends of the Night Sky: Perseus and Andromeda" playing in the Settlemyre Planetarium. Look for unsung heroes of the animal world, collect superhero scientist trading cards, and learn about everyday heroes in our community. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume!

Historic Brattonsville presents the history of the Scots-Irish and African-Americans in the South Carolina upcountry largely through preserving and interpreting the story of the Bratton community from the 1760s to the late 19th century. Explore the Bratton Plantation, owned and lived on by three generations of the Bratton family.
Explore the Carolina Piedmont and its connections to the world at the Museum of York County! Our Naturalist Center has more than 2000 specimens to guide your learning adventures.
