Development Alert is running active fundraising campaigns on GIVENGAIN Website https://www.givengain.com/c/developmentalert/ and is looking for online Fundraisers who will plan and oversee campaigns and events to raise funds and drive up the organization's Donations.
VOLUNTEER FUNDRAISER ROLE:
The Volunteer will ensure that campaign is effective by performing the following roles;
- Raising funds for the community water well project
- Sharing campaign link with wider audience through different channels but not limited to social media.
- Design promotional materials and increase awareness of the organizations work, goals, and financial needs.
- Organize and manage online events to promote the fundraising drive
- Identify and implement fundraising ideas to raise project funds
- Establish network, Recruit Donors and Support in Granting Writing

Upon successful completion of task (s) of raising funds, the volunteer will;

Description
Development Alert is a registered Charity (renewed in 2022) under CR/11/2022 operating in Uganda and involved in Empowering Vulnerable and Poor communities on Livelihoods Improvement and Environmental wellbeing. Founded in 2019, it exists to identify, develop and promote talent, projects, programs and activities on and related to the fight against the causes and consequence of poverty, ill health, biodiversity loss and marginalization for, socio-economic and environmental wellbeing. We are a partner with Global Joy Giving, a Philanthropic Initiative from USA. Our coordinator there-Michelle Joy will also be glad talk with you. 1) Education (sponsorship, supply of scholastic materials, promoting literacy, construction of school infrastructure among others).2) Promoting access to clean and safe water.
3) Economic Empowerment.
4) Promoting Environmental conservation initiatives.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Drilled a Community Borehole, supported over 634 needy school going children, Supplied Seven (7) Brand New Sewing Machines and start up Fabrics. Trained Five (15) young people in life-skills and planted over 7000 trees in partnership with Uganda Wildlife Society.
