Description

Mission:

MFC is a non-profit organization working to reduce fashion pollution through reuse and upcycling. We create upcycled products in partnership with the Matilda Flow Inclusion Foundation (MFI) in Ghana, connect artisans and sustainable fashion brands, and collaborate in the publication of textile waste research.

Vision:

MFC will not exist in our present form by June 2027. Our partner, MFI, will have continuous sources of income as an ethical producer for sustainable fashion brands and retailers. In line with their vision, MFI will produce quality, upcycled products sold locally and globally. We believe that with the right relationships and infrastructure, the artisans at MFI will be successful without us. Our collaborations in research and art advocacy which seek to advance knowledge and contribute to policies that end fashion pollution will continue independently. While our organization will end, the MFC community will remain connected and driven to address environmental injustice.
