Access Equestrian is seeking kind and caring volunteers to assist in our programs who have experience working with horses. Help is needed in our adaptive riding lessons for school aged children and adults with developmental disabilities. Our lesson program operates Tuesday through Sunday, throughout the day.

We are currently looking for volunteer lesson leaders for immediate placement in our fall program, two-hours once per week minimum. Tuesday afternoon shift times to be determined upon placement.

Lesson leader duties vary according to each particular schedule, but include everything from barn care and horse handling, leading and side walking in lessons, as well as assisting adults and children with disabilities. The efforts of our incredible volunteers make our programs possible. All volunteers will receive orientation training before joining our program. Additional training may be required upon placement and experience.

Please note: This volunteer opportunity is for immediate placement on Tuesday afternoons in our fall program.
