Our college students and school horses serve people with disabilities and special needs from Scotland, Robeson, Richmond, and Marlboro counties. We are a PATH International Premier Accredited Center that upholds the highest standards of safety, training and quality horsemanship.
Description
The first university in the US to offer a Therapeutic Horsemanship major, St. Andrews continues to be a leader in producing excellent therapeutic riding instructors. We serve the community while offering our students the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience.

- Orientation or Training
- 1 hour per week, for each 9 week session.
- Ability to walk with arm at or above shoulder height for up to 20 minutes, ability to walk/jog on sand and uneven surfaces.
