Join us to help build a pollinator and people paradise!
We host volunteer work days open to the public - all ages are welcome! We have a variety of ways to participate such as planting seedlings, cleaning up debris, trail maintenance and removing unwanted vegetation.
WHEN: 9am-11am, Saturday, September 17 & 24
WHERE: NW 31st St. and N. Shartel Ave. in Oklahoma City.
WHAT TO BRING
- Bottle for water. We will have a water filling station.
- Gloves. Gardening or leather work gloves work great. If you do not have any, no worries...we have some you can borrow.
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Closed toe shoes

To establish the Central Park neighborhood as a pollinator corridor that provides habitat for the dwindling populations of native pollinators, as well as provide a visitor-friendly nature park that serves as a community space and educational platform for local residents, youth, schools, and organizations. Located at NW 31 st St. and N. Shartel Ave. in Oklahoma City, a group of local residents has teamed up with Closer to Earth (C2E) to reinvent the Central Park Community Garden from an annual produce garden to a full-fledged pollinator and people paradise! The garden is open to the public. Come by and visit anytime!
