Recruiting Organization: Never the Less

Never the Less is looking for 2 dynamic teachers to lead the 30-week long after school programs, Khula ("thrive" in Zulu) for 4th through 6th grade girls and 7th and 8th grade girls. We are also looking for a teacher to teach 9th through 11th grade girls in our Jumpstart Your Future course. In this role, you'll oversee weekly activities and instruction, prepare learning materials, and help students develop study skills, set goals, and foster confidence. Using the Overcoming Obstacles Curriculum and Empower Your Future Curriculum, respectively, you will act as a mentor and encourage the social and emotional growth of the participating young women.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly and approachable

• An excellent communicator

• Passionate about teaching and mentoring

• Experienced in teaching young people

Additional information:

• Classes run October 11th, 2022 through May 22nd, 2023 5pm-7pm at the Never The Less, Inc. offices (7162 Reading Rd. Suite 1010)

• Curriculum and materials will be supplied

• A background check is required

• Payment is a $2,000 stipend
