Meals on Wheels delivers meals to the homebound seniors in our community. Our volunteers carry the meals in our food delivery coolers. This opportunity is helping us clean the coolers to keep them as sanitary as we can. This opportunity is M-F 11am to 1pm. Minimum age 14 years of age unless with an adult. Meals on Wheels of Polk County delivers 200 meals a day Monday-Friday. We have 250 volunteers that deliver meals, prepare food in the kitchen and work in our Thrift Store. We have 20 routes that deliver to Winter Haven, Lakeland, Auburndale, Haines City and Davenport.
