Provide companionship and socialization to patients in hospice! This is a great opportunity for social workers or psychology students in college for their bachelor's or master's degree. Through volunteering you can get your hours needed for your internship while serving the patients in the community. This is a position you can be creative with! We have had volunteers provide art and music therapy, reiki, and much more! We encourage you to embrace your talents as a volunteer to help bring a smile to our patient's faces. As a volunteer you will go into patient's homes and long term care facilities to volunteer with our patients. Many of our patients want someone to talk to and share their stories with.
