Event Photographer for Fundraiser

Elevate New York is looking for a volunteer photographer for their upcoming fundraiser, No One Gets There Alone. The Event Photography Volunteer will be tasked with capturing photos of the event presentation, guests, and candid moments to be used for social media and marketing purposes. This volunteer position supports Elevate's mission by allowing us to document our event, have high quality imagery for marketing, and provide images with guests to share with their contacts. Essential Duties:

• Working collaboratively with the Development Director
• Capturing candid photos of attendees interacting with each other, as well as posed photos of groups of attendees
• Capturing photos of speakers during main presentation
• Capturing one posed photo of the Board of Directors and of one posed photo of the Elevate New York Staff

Requirements:

• Must provide own equipment (ENY is not responsible for providing any photography equipment, lighting, or backdrops)
• Must be comfortable politely asking guests to pose for photos
• Must provide Elevate New York with a digital album of all photos without watermarks

• As of this job posting, masks will not be required at the event. New York City no longer requires that venues ask guests for proof of vaccination. However, we will make all efforts to ensure proper air ventilation throughout the venue and masks will be provided for any guest who feels more comfortable wearing one.
• Volunteers are not required to show proof of vaccination.
• All Elevate New York staff is fully vaccinated.

Volunteer Recognition:

• Elevate New York is happy to credit our volunteer photographer on social media posts (ENY will only tag professional or amateur photography accounts. We cannot tag personal accounts. If you do not have a photography social account, we are happy to credit you by name at the end of the caption.)
• If the volunteer photographer owns their own photography business, we are happy to include your business name and logo on our event website and shout out the business during the main presentation*

*Please be aware, if the volunteer owns a professional photography business and would like to be recognized at the event, they must provide a COI for the venue
