Are you interested in gaining new skills in a professional environment where you can have an impact?
SOAR365 is seeking a student intern or committed volunteer with an interest in facilities/maintenance operations who can assist the department with general duties such as:
- Answering/transferring phone calls, taking messages, writing memos, correspondence.
- Keeping the office database and filing system up to date and organized
- Creating spreadsheets, generating reports (excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Special Report and document preparation, including certification agencies, internal & external documents/reports.
- Assisting with purchasing office supplies and communicating with vendors
- Working with office equipment vendors to maintain office equipment such as printers, etc.
- Daily receipt & sorting and delivering all mail.
- Other duties as assigned from time-to-time
The right candidate will be considered for part-time or full-time employment.

In partnership with families, SOAR365 creates life-fulfilling opportunities for individuals with disabilities, annually serving over 1,400 people and their families. Founded in 1954, SOAR365 is an organization created by families, for families; an organization that has grown to provide a continuum of programs and services for individuals with disabilities across the lifespan.
With multiple locations throughout central Virginia, SOAR365 programs span the lifecycle and assist people with disabilities to live happy, successful and meaningful lives. Programs and services include: Pediatric Therapy Services; Adult & Youth Day Services; Workforce Development Services; and Residential (Summer Camp and Respite) Services.
