ORGANIZATION: PULLMAN COMMUNITY COUNCIL ON AGING

Senior Chore Service recruits volunteers to match with seniors needing occasional assistance around their home. While some projects are complete one-time by groups, we are also seeking individual volunteers, ideally those who can cultivate an ongoing relationship with an individual senior.

This support includes:

  • light indoor cleanup
  • furniture rearranging
  • outdoor chores like leaf raking, snow shoveling
  • companionship visits

Individual volunteers need to complete our application, which includes a Washington State background check. Completed applications should be submitted to the Program Coordinator either through email or via mail. Applicants will be contacted for an interview before being matched with a senior. Please visit our website at www.pullmanccoa.org/senior-and-volunteer/ to initiate the process.
