During September - Hunger Action Month - Make a powerful impact on hunger by joining Feed6 and Pepper the App in preparing and distributing meals to hunger and food-insecure neighbors.

For those who are chefs at heart - and have big, generous hearts - this is the perfect volunteer, charitable opportunity for you - easy, fun, done at home, and costs you nothing, other than a few minutes a day.

No donations are required - only some creativity and time - and all in the comfort of your own home. Just by sharing your favorite recipe on Pepper the App, and tagging it as "Feed6", Pepper will fund three meals for Outreach-Feed6 to prepare and distribute to neighbors in need. So, if we can get hundreds of people to download the app and upload and tag "Feed6" to their recipes, we will generate hundreds, perhaps thousands of meals for food-insecure veterans and their families. It's so quick, easy, and fun.

Here’s how it works....

Step 1: Download the free "Pepper" App - a cool, new social cooking platform.

Step 2: Upload your favorite recipes.

Step 3: Tag them "Feed6" before posting.

Voila: Pepper will donate funds for three nutritious meals for food insecure kids, families, veterans, and seniors that Feed6-Outreach will prepare and distribute.

Feed6:

Since 2011 Feed6 has packaged and distributed over 5.5 nutritious meals to food-insecure neighbors, in alliance with Outreach, an international Charity Navigator accredited 501C3, honored by two US Presidents in the White House and responsible for producing and distributing 670 million meals worldwide.

Through our innovative mobile food packaging program, Outreach-Feed6 organizes meal packaging events - in church halls, school gyms, hotel ballrooms, corporate headquarters, and conference centers - drawing hundreds, sometimes thousands of volunteers, each prepared to donate a couple of hours to package nutritious, protein and vitamin enriched meals for the hungry.

Pepper the App:

Pepper is a social cooking platform that launched in September 2021. The app currently has over 350,000 users and is used by some of the largest digital food creators around the globe. The concept was designed by a group of friends who wanted an easier way to share their cooking creations with friends and family. On Pepper (which is free & available on both iOS and Android), users can create a digital cookbook of their recipes, search for recipes from everyday chefs, explore recipes from the community, and follow a feed to find dishes from family and friends.
