We provide warm coats, hats, gloves and socks to children infant to high school and we are in need of volunteers to support this effort in December. This event is open to the public and is free, therefore we need lots of volunteers to assist. This will be a giveaway with a few extras for the family.
Volunteers who arrive at 8am or 9am will assist with set-up. Tables, chairs, place poster boards, place balloons, set up popcorn and cotton candy machine;
Event begin at 10am: These volunteers will greet the families, be stationed at tables to make sure families with children get coats, hats, gloves, socks and informational packets, have tickets for all items including food items.
Volunteers will also be "shoppers" and help parents locate the correct sizes for their child(ren); keep the flow of lines moving. We also need volunteers who are experienced in working/serving at a popcorn machine and cotton candy machine.
Volunteers arriving at 1pm or later will break down event and make sure all items are returned and packed up.
Note: these shifts can be flexible. We ask you give at least 2 hours and attend a volunteer meeting 1 week before the event.

Mission Statement
We believe that all children should live a normal a life as possible, families should be productive in their communities, and the homeless communities should be provided warmth through our coat program. Our closet provide coats, hoodies, hats and gloves to children infant to high school for free in disadvantaged and challenging communities in Missouri and St. Clair County, IL. Coats will not only keep them warm, but more importantly, instill in them that they are just as important as anyone else regardless of their situation or environment.
Description
All Nanna's Kids Closet, founded in 2018 is a 501c3 organization that provide coats, hoodies, hats and gloves to children infant to high school. We are committed to serving families with children, schools, daycares, shelters and any child who need a coat. We deliver coats and host coat giveaways from Oct - March each year. Since 2018 we have given away over 6000 coats, hats and gloves to children; which is approximately 600 families served. We are compassionate in our giving and connected to the communities that we impact. We do not discriminate, a need is a need. No child should know how it feels to go without a coat during the winter months. Volunteers are always welcome to help at our coat giveaways.
