Tour de Cure in Rochester, NY

The Tour de Cure: Finger Lakes Region is the premier fundraising campaign that fuels every aspect of American Diabetes Association’s crucial work. Your involvement will make a direct impact on our mission to prevent and cure diabetes and improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

The Engagement Committee is a group of individuals from across the state of New York that help to grow and engage the 2023 Tour de Cure participant base. In partnership with the ADA Staff, Engagement Committee Members will help to retain previous participants, recruit new participants, and activate fundraising for those who are currently registered.

Role and Responsibilities include:

  • Register for the 2023 Tour de Cure and set a personal fundraising goal
  • Retention: Call/Email previous participants to get them to register for the 2023 Tour
  • Activation: Call/Email current participants to welcome, thank and/or help answer any questions regarding their fundraising, team recruitment or event details; Collect personal stories from your conversations that ADA Staff can use for social media campaigns
  • Recruitment: Work with ADA Staff to identify new participants/groups; deliver print collateral to area businesses
  • Host Team Captain Happy Hours:
