This is an exciting time to get involved at Wycombe Museum as we move into post-COVID recovery and welcome all our audiences back through our doors.

As a Front of House Volunteer you will be the first person visitors meet when they arrive at Wycombe Museum.

A typical day in this role may include:

• Welcoming visitors to the museum and making sure they have a lovely visit
• Introducing each of the exhibits/galleries
• Answering questions about the museum
• Answering the phone and taking messages
• Opening and closing the galleries
• Encouraging visitors to donate to the museum
• Supporting group visits and events

Front of house shifts can be either: 10:45am - 1pm or 12:45pm - 3:30pm on Tuesdays - Fridays and Sundays. Volunteering opportunities are available every day, but we especially need Front of House volunteers on Tuesdays and Sundays.

Who would be supporting me?

The Visitor Experience Co-Ordinator, Angie, would be your main point of contact. On a daily basis, the Duty Manager and our staff and volunteers will be helping you.

Where and when would I be volunteering?

Volunteers will be based at Wycombe Museum located on Priory Avenue, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP13 6PX.

All you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
