We are currently looking for individuals that are willing to help with our day to day operations. We are a fairly new nonprofit. We are currently in the beginning stage, and need help getting things up in running. Each Lead Outreach volunteer will help with reaching out to different organizations and or companies about possible funding, collaborating, etc. We also need them to be able to research the possible available resources in the Tampa Bay area that we can utilize.

Description
At Shirley’s Temple, we will look to provide financial assistance to single parents facing evictions or displacement in the Tampa Bay area. In 2021, Tampa was deemed the number one housing market in the United States. As a result, both home values and rent in the area soared by almost 30% in a year. This has caused a financial strain on a lot of the residents in Tampa Bay. Especially single parent households who already faced difficulties managing their current living situation. As a result, this has added stress and pressure to their households. We believe that having a healthy home environment is essential to the development of the family. It is important that we do whatever it takes to help each single parent that goes through our program maintain or achieve a healthy home environment.
