Designed to teach baseball skills to children (ages 5-12) of varying ability levels. This program will focus on developing fitness and self-esteem, as well as create friendships through the joy of non-competitive games. Each session will be guided by staff and volunteers and will consist of various games and activities.
Volunteers help with:
set-up and breakdown
one on one support (depending on volunteer to athlete ratio)
assisting and encouraging athletes with baseball skills
provide verbal cues and/or physical assistance to athletes
This is a fun program and a great way to get service hours :)
NOTE: IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER THE PROGRAM WILL BE MOVED IN DOORS TO WALLER PARK GYM. ADDRESS IS PROVIDED.

Description
We have a variety of programs such as adaptive aquatics, yoga, tennis, baseball, basketball, and bocce, as well as social events. Join youth and adults as they participate in these recreation programs. All volunteers must submit an application prior to volunteering. Email adaptiverecreation@roswellgov.com for more info.
