Killer Whale Tales is an environmental education non-profit that uses science and storytelling to teach students about Southern Resident killer whales (SRKW) and inspire them to take an active role in the conservation of SRKW.
Killer Whale Tales is seeking additional volunteer board members. The board is responsible for financial management, public relations, program development, and strategic planning. Individual board members can select committees and projects they are interested in working on. Projects include but are not limited to:
- Grant Writing
- Social Media Posts
- Website Maintenance/Updates
- Creating Trivia for Fundraisers
- Updating Program Materials
- Recording Meeting Notes
Commitment:
- Virtually attend 1 board meeting per quarter
- Participate on 1+ committees
- Work on projects as your schedule allows

Killer Whale Tales is based out of Seattle, WA, but at this time, all meetings are done virtually, so we are accepting volunteers from outside of the Seattle area but prefer volunteers to live in the United States.
