ORGANIZATION: Idealist.org

Recruiting Organization: WheatonArts

Greetings, Here at WheatonArts we are getting excited for the annual Festival of Fine Craft, scheduled for October 1 & 2. As you may know, it is our premier and award-winning annual event, featuring more than 100 artists and exhibitors, new and unique crafts, live demonstrations, hands-on family activities, entertainment, wonderful regional food, and more! Please help us make the Festival of Fine Craft successful once again this year!

Every year, the Festival depends on the help of more than 150 generous volunteers who help to make this exciting event run smoothly. In return for 4 hours of donated time, each volunteer will receive a participant badge (good for both days) and two additional complimentary festival passes for friends or family members. Continue volunteering throughout the year, and your time counts towards a free Make-Your-Own-Experience, offered when 100 hours of Volunteer Time at WheatonArts is reached! If you are a student volunteer, you will receive a letter confirming your hours for service learning/clubs. If you sign up for a shift, you will receive a confirmation email. More information will also be sent to you closer to the event. All staff, volunteers, artists, and guests will have to follow current State/Federal guidelines regarding COVID-19 at the time of the event. If you would like to register online, please visit www.wheatonarts.org/support/volunteer, and scroll down to the Festival volunteer registration link. If your family members or friends would like to help, please pass it on! Please feel free to contact Kellie Haines at 856.825.6800 ext. 109 or by e-mail at khaines@wheatonarts.org if you need more information. Thank you in advance for the gift of your time. We could not do what we do without you!
