Here at Adei Foundation, Inc. and the Adei Institute of Technology we are in search of a dynamic team of skilled professionals to help develop and implement our Technical Skill Training Program.

We are developing a pipeline of talent capable of taking advantage of the global digital economy and leveraging opportunities in their communities and beyond.

A little about us: Adei Foundation was formed in 2017 as a way to promote technology and entrepreneurship in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa. We are still in the early stage.

Our mission is to drive socio-economic development in Côte d’Ivoire through technology by fostering opportunities for entrepreneurs, talent and innovation; while applying a gender lens.

Our vision: Adei Institute establishes a world-class entrepreneurship hub in the West and Francophone Africa region, committed to connecting founders, technologists, and investors with global disruptive innovation.


DESCRIPTION

Adei Foundation is looking for a variety of skilled professionals to contribute to the implementation tools and program development for our Data Science Fellowship Program.

We are looking for education consultants, business content writers, and skilled professionals with a technical background to join our group of volunteers. You will collaborate with a team of volunteers to reach key goals and deliver program materials. As a volunteer, you will work with a program manager to support the organization's strategic direction.


RESPONSIBILITIES

The Technical Skills volunteer responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Organizing programs and activities in accordance with Adei Institute of Technology’s objectives.
  • Ensuring that the program has clear and accurate goals and that they are met.
  • Working with other program managers to define all aspects of the program and deliver an implementation plan for the field team.
  • Working on strategy with the marketing team and helping develop partnerships.
  • Manage expert contributors and skill-based volunteers to support the program
  • Evaluating and monitoring program performance and issue reports to stakeholders to assess strengths and identify areas that need improvement.
  • Overseeing multiple project teams.
  • Managing budget and funding channels for maximum productivity.
  • Designing orientation and other relevant material to guide expert contributors.
  • Collaborating with the program development team to develop supporting artifacts for program participants
  • Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing standards set by Adei Institute of Technology.
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess expertise in technical skills
  • Proven experience in technical skill training
  • Proven experience in program management or similar field of expertise
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to manage and work with a team
  • Must be able to commit for at least 6 months for this position
  • Has a great understanding of program management
  • Proficient in computer applications like G-Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Has excellent training management, presentation and technical leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in a related field preferred.
