We Need
Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists (Active or Retired) who are passionate about assisting patients with the new equipment they borrow from our library.
We need people who can:
- Explain how to use a variety of equipment
- Make proper adjustments to equipment to suit the needs of patients
- Many of our library members are new immigrants, low income families, families with special needs etc.
Although we have provided medical equipment at no charge to the greater Fairfield county area for over 2 years, our volunteers are not medical experts. We need your knowledge and expertise to give the care that our clients deserve.

Mission Statement
Mission To create, operate and template a branded lending library where people who need DME can borrow it, and where people who have lightly used DME can conveniently donate it to benefit others, and the environment. Vision To change the way people from all backgrounds think about the availability, use, and reuse of DME - thereby improving quality of life, saving hundreds of millions of dollars, and keeping billions of pounds of DME out of landfills.
Description
Launched in October 2020. Over 400 people reach out to us every month to either borrow or donate equipment. We lend out over $2000 worth of equipment every day. We are just scratching the surface. We meaningfully improve the quality of people's lives, measurably save people and society money, and we help save the planet by keeping perfectly useable equipment out of landfills.
We need your help :)
