Habitat’s Home Repair program is an extension of our mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. It helps families maintain and stay in their homes, and contributes to neighborhood stabilization and revitalization.
Repairs can be interior or exterior work performed to alleviate critical health, life and safety issues, or code violations, including a change to or repair of materials or components; a reconfiguration of space, a modification for accessibility; installation or extension of plumbing, mechanical or electrical systems on an existing structure.
Homeowners who meet income guidelines may qualify for up to $15,000 in repairs with a 0% interest, low-payment loans. Just like Habitat’s houses, repairs are done in partnership with the homeowner. Homeowners who have an ability to pay and a need may qualify. Call us today to find out if you qualify!
Volunteer opportunities in our Home Repair program include supporting our Repair Program Manager in completing the scope of the repair. Activities can include brush removal, wheelchair ramp and hand rail installation, bathroom renovation, building a deck, and more.

Mission Statement
Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, community, and hope. We build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
Description
Through volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent homes with the help of the homeowner. Habitat houses are sold to families at no profit, financed with affordable, no-interest loans. The homeowners’ monthly mortgage payments are recycled into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.
