Volunteers are needed to provide companionship and socialization visits for people living with a life-limiting illness. If you are willing and able to share your time with hospice patients living in the Georgetown area and able to pass a background check, we will proved you with the training and orientation needed to succeed. Description

Amedisys Hospice is a community based hospice care agency licensed by the State of Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) and Medicare (CMS) and Accredited by Community Health Accreditation Program.
Our goals are is to foster genuine personal connections that offer emotional, psychological and spiritual support by taking an active role in the interests that bring joy to our patients. This strong support system also extends to the patients families, providing them resources and support throughout this journey. The families we work with rate our care highly. 85% if the families said they would recommend hospice services to others and 84% rated overall patient care as "excellent" or "good."
