The Voter Empowerment Education & Enrichment Movement is a faith-based, nonpartisan, community organization dedicated to increasing voter turnout in Allegheny County. We are seeking volunteer canvassers to engage with potential voters by phone and in person in the East Hills community ahead of the November 8th General Election.
Duties of a volunteer include:
Believing that voting matters
Able to work independently or with peers
Comfortable with using technology such as Zoom and other websites
Able to attend a volunteer training
Time commitment:
Self-determined schedule
COVID-19 considerations:
VEEEM expects that all workers, consultants, and board members will adhere to best practices regarding COVID-19, including but not limited to wearing masks in indoor spaces, frequent handwashing, and cleaning surfaces with sanitizer when applicable.

The VEEEM Team is always looking for bright, young, enthusiastic volunteers to help canvass Pittsburgh neighborhoods to help register residents to vote and help organize vote related events!
