Position Description : The Volunteer Office Assistant will help lead our administrative operations to further our mission. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Duties include:

• Monitoring outreach email accounts in coordination with the Co-Executive Directors and Outreach Coordinator
• Responding to volunteer and other general organization inquiries via email
• Monitoring and responding in real-time to visitors on Waterway Advocates’ online chat system
• Data entry, spreadsheet, and Google Drive file management
• Basic website updates on Wix platform
• Occasional special tasks and other administrative responsibilities based on the volunteer’s interests and abilities, such as grant research, newsletter article opportunities, etc.

• Volunteer community service hour verification will be provided, upon request.

Time Commitment : Flexible - Minimum of 5 hours per 7-day week
