We are seeking a Virtual Reality (VR) Coordinator to join our Virtual and Interactive Solutions team.
We are the WonderSeed Foundation, a licensed 501c3 that needs your help. We have an innovative approach to preventing youth initiation into drugs and recidivism in the juvenile justice system. Our unique emotional intelligence platform provides interactive brain training tools that stimulate the development of the prefrontal cortex. Our customized methodology fosters emotional intelligence and helps today’s youth make better decisions that will build a brighter tomorrow.
Our mission is to teach and promote emotional intelligence through immersive technology and storytelling, with the long-term mission to help shape an enlightened future.

Responsibilities:
- Work with technical leads to ensure best practices are followed during design, development, and delivery
- Support team in the use of tools and techniques related to or supportive of the practices of virtual reality and visual effects
- Provide support and guidance in the use of virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed/merged reality and motion capture environments, development tools, and related technologies.
- Support team in producing screen-based, immersive, or interactive animations, films, games and visual effects projects.
Qualifications:
- Working experience in games or interactive entertainment and VR development against all other opportunities.
- Organized and methodical with attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate within a multi-departmental, multi-disciplinary team of artists, developers, and other technical professionals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working on software development projects
- Creative thinking and the ability to effectively troubleshoot issues
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with software development (especially Unity, Unreal, C#, C++, Python, etc.) preferred
